Attendance

North Kansas City Schools believes that regular attendance at school is important. In fact, research has demonstrated a correlation between good attendance and the likelihood of good academic progress. However, it is recognized that there are occasions when it is necessary that a student be absent from school all or part of the day. Students must stay home when sick only if they have had vomiting, a fever or diarrhea in the past 24 hours. 

When your student will be absent, late, or need to leave early, please call the attendance line at (816) 321-5332.
